Weddy Weddy celebrates fantastic 14

The 'immortal sound system' Stone Love, with Wee Pow at the helm, again had reasons to celebrate as their marquee event Wendy Wendy Wednesdays celebrated its 14th year as a weekly party series at Stone Love Headquarters, Burlington Avenue, last Wednesday.

The venue was packed with celebrities and loyal patrons.

Stone Love played during prime time, but allowed Boom Boom to close the event. But some feel Weddy Weddy has outgrown the Burlington Avenue venue.

Wee Pow said he felt the party was "awesome".

"A few people, especially the more mature patrons, turned up early, so they left before the late crowd came in," he said. "So, as to the size of the place, we will be doing the maths so everyone can move around more freely, especially the dancers. So all in all, the party was awesome."
