Seagal ready to 'Tek Set'

Fast-rising dancehall artiste Seagal is currently enjoying much attention with his new single, Tek Set.

The song was produced by Nation Cry Music, was released in June, since then it has been burning up the airwaves.

"My new single is creating a huge buzz in the streets; right now it's one of the hottest songs for the summer," said Seagal.

The deejay's witty lyrics and his unique flow have also caught the attention of music lovers online.

"A couple weeks ago, Rawpa Crawpa reviewed my song on YouTube, since then a lot of people have been sharing it on their social media pages and on WhatsApp," said the artiste.

The song has also caught the attention of other artistes, including female singjay Moyann, who has released a song Netflix N Chill which features similar lyrics, but Seagal is not upset about this.

"I know my style is hot and catchy, so right now if other artistes hear my lyrics and bite a piece, I'm cool with that," he said.

Seagal was born Segal Thompson and grew up in Spring Park, Black River, St Elizabeth.

He's a past student of Black River High School. Seagal launched his recording career in 2010, with the release of a single Bubble.
