Beky Glacier hopes for a summer hit
Dancehall artiste Beky Glacier has high hopes for his recently released single Summer Invitation.
The song, which was produced by Phyah Proof Entertainment was released last month. Since then, it has been enjoying steady rotation.
Beky Glacier says that he's confident that his song will be one of the favourites on the party scene this summer.
"My song is getting good support from radio jocks all over the world. It's also getting a lot of love in the streets and the clubs. It's going to be one of the big songs for the summer. The ladies are going wild when they hear it in the party," he said.
The Kingston-born deejay is currently working on several new projects, including a seven-track EP Warning, which is slated to be released before the end of August.
"I am also working on an album. The album should be finished and ready for release by December," said the artiste.
Beky Glacier was born Karim Beckett. He grew up in Wareika Hills in Kingston.
Beky Glacier launched his recording career in 2004 with a single, Headache on the Phyah Proof Entertainment label.
