Artiste and selector Tony Matterhorn believes he may have found the track that could become the next anthem locally and internationally.

Pointing out that he has always respected persons who take pride in their physical appearance, Matterhorn said that he had to do a song to represent for the 'clean' people.

The song, We Smell Like Foreign, has only been out for just over a month, but Matterhorn says that based on the response he already sees where the song is poised to become a favourite among music lovers, especially those who pride themselves on being 'clean' inside and out.

"It simple enuh. The song is about people weh clean, look good, smell good and a live good. When we smell like foreign, we a talk bout when you come from foreign and yuh open the suitcase and yuh smell the Irish Spring mix with baby powder, and we just smell good and feel good," he explained.

"It's a feel-good song that supposed to make you wah walk out pan people wid yuh stay good self."

Matterhorn said that the song has been doing well so far, and he believes the time will come when the song and the slang will be big as people are relating to the message in the song.

"The song is doing good so far. The people are loving it and everyone is already using the slang, especially in the UK," he said. "It got a nice vibe during Dream Weekend earlier this month and even premiered on BBC 1Xtra with Seani B. It nah get the big forwards yet, but the response has been very nice and I believe the big forwards will come."
