Cocaine seized in St Mary, two men arrested

Detectives from the St. Mary and Narcotics Divisions seized a quantity of cocaine on the Annotto Bay main road in St. Mary on Thursday, April 30.

Reports are that about 4:00 p.m., a Toyota Probox motor car with two men aboard was intercepted.

The vehicle was searched and 2.4 pounds of cocaine with an estimated street value of JMD 1.3 million was found.

The men were arrested and the vehicle seized.

Their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.
