Jamaica reports it's first day with no new COVID-19 cases

For the first time in over fifty days, Jamaica has recorded no new positive cases of COVID-19.

Recoveries have also continued to soar, with six additional persons being released from hospital in the last 24 hours. This brings the tally to 118 recovered patients.

Of the 509 cases, 305 are females and 204 are males.

They range in age from 2 months to 87 years.

There are currently no moderately or critically ill cases.

The number of new samples tested in the last 24 hours is 228, bringing the total number of samples tested to 7,780.
