Minor earthquake felt in St Mary and St Andrew

A very minor earthquake of preliminary magnitude 2.9 was felt in St Mary on Wednesday morning, the Earthquake Unit at the University of the West Indies, Mona, has said.

It said the earthquake was located approximately 11 kilometres south of Annotto Bay, St Mary, and was reported as felt at 5:13 a.m.

Persons in Chancery Hall, St Andrew, also reported feeling the tremor.
