Gun and ammunition seized in Rockfort, Kingston

The Elletson Road Police in Kingston have seized a firearm and ammunition during a targeted operation in the Rockfort area on Wednesday.

Reports say that about 11:00 a.m., lawmen acting on information, were searching a premises at the intersection of Tiverton Road and Jackson Avenue.

A Taurus 9 millimetre pistol and a magazine containing four 9mm cartridges were found.

No one was arrested in connection to the find.
