Woman found dead, partially nude in locked room in Spanish Town home

A chilling discovery has left a St Catherine community on edge after a 28-year-old woman was found dead under disturbing circumstances inside her bedroom in Eltham Acres, Spanish Town.

Dead is Annica Hamilton, a trainee customer service representative.

Reports indicate that about 10 a.m. on Sunday, a relative returned home and noticed something was off. The house was open, but the room occupied by Hamilton was tightly shut.

After repeated calls to her phone went unanswered, the relative forced entry into the room, only to stumble upon a her body. Hamilton was found lying on a bed, partially nude, with blood coming from her nose.

The police were immediately summoned and, upon arrival, processed the scene before the body was removed to the Spanish Town Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Investigators have since launched a probe into the circumstances surrounding her death as questions mount over what exactly transpired inside the room.
