Husband got his student pregnant

Dear Pastor,

It has been a long time since I have heard from you, but I do listen to your show often, and of course, I read your column in the newspaper every day. The last time I was in Jamaica, I gave birth to a brown-skinned baby boy, but this child is not for my husband. My husband and I broke up. We just could not see eye to eye. So we left each other.

I am living with the man who got me pregnant. I did not plan my life that way. We are working with the same company. We are on different shifts but I am seeing my way much better.

My husband got one of his student's pregnant and then blamed her. When I heard that he was having an affair with her, I spoke to him about it and he said he was not crazy. But he was crazy because I was told the child resembles him. I don't want him anymore. I can do without him.

I hope to see you after COVID-19. I'll bring the baby to be blessed by you. Take good care of yourself, Pastor.

I want to wish you the very best. You are an intelligent young woman. You have a good job and you work hard. I am sorry to know that your marriage has not worked but I hope that this second time around would be better for you. That is how it is sometimes. The second time around may be better than the first.
