St Catherine 24-hour curfew to be lifted at 6 am tomorrow

The recent three-day extension of the 24-hour curfew for St Catherine, which began on Wednesday, April 29, will be lifted as at 6 a.m., tomorrow.

In a post on his official Twitter account, Prime Minister Andrew Holness, shared while that St Catherine residents will no longer be restricted in movement, they are, however, being advised to revert to the general measures under the Disaster Risk Management Act.

These measure include: 

Observing the nightly curfew, wearing masks in public, maintaining social distance and staying at home if you are over 65 and over.

Holness said he will provide further details in subsequent media conferences.
