Two killed in Westmoreland crash

Tragedy struck on Wednesday in Lindo's Hill in Whithorn, Westmoreland, as a fatal collision between a Toyota Succeed motor car and three other vehicles claimed the lives of two individuals.

Reports indicate that the Toyota Succeed was travelling towards Whithorn when the driver lost control, hitting a gas tanker, a garbage truck and a Toyota Axio.

The male driver of the Toyota Succeed, died on the spot, as did a female passenger in the Toyota Axio.

According to eyewitnesses, four people were rushed to the Savanna-la-Mar Hospital. Their conditions are currently unknown.

Emergency vehicles are still on the scene, providing necessary aid. The police have started an investigation to determine the cause of the collision.
