Beryllium security guard killed in gun attack in Portmore Pines
The Portmore Criminal Investigation Branch has launched a probe into an incident in which a Beryllium security guard was fatally shot last night in Portmore Pines in Portmore, St Catherine.
The deceased is 24-year-old Bjorn Moore of White Sands in St James.
According to reports, about 10:40 p.m. explosions were heard in the area and the police were alerted.
Cops discovered Moore along a roadway in the vicinity of Alamanda Drive and Corkwood Place in the area.
He had what appeared to be gunshot wounds and was assisted to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No motive has been established for the crime.
