Man charged for killing, burying woman in backyard in Glengoffe, St Catherine remanded

The St Catherine man who allegedly confessed to killing and burying a woman in their backyard was remanded when he appeared in court on Thursday.

Orlando Chin, 27, otherwise called 'Juckie', is charged with murder and unlawful burial of Lisa Gaye Coubre, 32, both of Glengoffe in St Catherine.

Senior Parish Court Judge,Yvette Wenthworth-Miller ordered the case to be heard on December 10.

Alligations are that about 2:00 p.m. on September 28, Coubre and Chin had a dispute over the usage of a television remote. The accused allegedly pushed her and she hit her head. He then allegedly killed her.

Chin reportedly buried her body in the backyard.

He later allegedly confessed to the crime on October 7, and the next day led lawmen to where the body was buried.

He was then charged.
