BAD INVESTMENT appears the right choice for Saturday's Reggae 6 opener after chasing upset-winner SIX AVENUE when dropped among $350,000 claimers on Labour Day, a tempting banker with a $12 million single-winner bonus dangling from Sunday.

However, $350,000 claimers are glorified settlers, horses with flatlined form, creating many uncertainties, especially when they change hands, making BAD INVESTMENT exactly what his name spells out, a bad investment and prime candidate for form-reversal after being claimed on Labour Day.

Considering the race could be turned on its head should BAD INVESTMENT fail to fire, HEEZALIION cannot be ignored in a hat-trick bid. MILLINIUM STAR, STORM VALLEY, MUZZO and EXPEDITIOUS, note Omar Walker aboard, could also strike.

Similarly, LOCKDOWN's brave run in the 2000 Guineas, chasing the pace into the lane before being hindered along the rail by winner SENSATIONAL SOUL splitting horses, screams banker in the Mr Lover Lover Trophy at nine furlongs and 25 yards.

LOCKDOWN might have chased the Guineas speed, four furlongs of backstretch straight, and two to the home turn. However, LOCKDOWN's pedigree, tracing back to grand-dam, Patara, and her dam, Arantxa, suggests the Strikehilitshot-sired chestnut might not stay the route trip.

NUCLEAR JET, UNCLE HARRY, ALIVE and PERFECT AFFAIR should all be used with LOCKDOWN whose stamina appears suspect, based on pedigree, going two turns.

United States-bred RIDEALLDAY is a banker, all day, in the third at seven and a half furlongs whereas KP CHOICE, ALEXA'S LODGE, REJECTED RAJA and SUGAR DADDY's game of musical chairs can be won by any of the four at five furlongs round in the fourth.

Close the Reggae 6 with consecutive bankers, starting with American UNCLE PECK in the fifth at a mile after chasing HITNRUN all day last out.

COP CAR can also be a banked after chasing BOB THE BUILDER at a mile on Labour Day, a decent second-time-out effort. BOB THE BUILDER ran a big one in the 2000 Guineas, trying to steal home but lacked the class.
