Paul added to West Indies Test squad

ST JOHN’S, Antigua (CMC):

Guyanese all-rounder Keemo Paul has been added to the West Indies squad ahead of the upcoming second Test match against Sri Lanka on Friday.

The 28-year-old is expected to join the squad ahead of today’s training session as the regional side finalises preparations for the final Test at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.

Paul has played three Test matches for the West Indies, with his last appearance being in 2019 against England.

He has scored 96 runs at an average of 16 and has also taken six wickets with his medium pace.

The West Indies lead the two-match series after winning the opening match by an innings and 217-runs.

Roston Chase (captain), Jomel Warrican (vice-captain), John Campbell, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Joshua Da Silva, Justin Greaves, Kavem Hodge, Shai Hope, Amir Jangoo, Alzarri Joseph, Shamar Joseph, Brandon King, Anderson Phillip, Keemo Paul, Kemar Roach and Jayden Seales.
