August 10, 2026

Fresh from an electrifying performance at Reggae Land UK, the internationally acclaimed dancehall artiste has announced a headline show at Sony Hall in New York City on Thursday, October 15.
The concert will see the distinctive dancehall voice return to the city he proudly calls home for an intimate performance celebrating a career that has crossed dancehall, reggae and R&B while earning him a devoted global following.
The announcement comes on the heels of his latest EP, A Slight Delay, which showcases Kranium’s continued artistic evolution while staying true to the melodic sound that has made him one of Jamaica’s most recognisable contemporary artistes.
Earlier this year, he also hit the road with his A Slight Delay Tour, taking the new music to fans across multiple markets.
Kranium burst onto the international scene with the Platinum-certified anthem Nobody Has to Know, which went on to earn multi-Platinum and Gold certifications across several territories, including Platinum in the United States and Canada, multi-Platinum in the United Kingdom, and Gold in New Zealand.
He has also picked up additional certifications for fan favourites, including Gal Policy and We Can.
Affectionately known as The Melody Gad, Kranium has worked with some of music’s biggest names while maintaining a sound that is distinctly his own.
His ability to fuse dancehall authenticity with contemporary influences has helped establish him as one of the genre’s most influential voices over the past decade.
“New York has always been home for me,” says Kranium. “Every time I perform here, the energy is different because these are the people who have been supporting me from the beginning. After everything that’s happened this year, from touring to releasing A Slight Delay and headlining festivals, it felt like the perfect time to come back with a headline show that the fans deserve.”
