Teen stabbed, beaten by two men Point Hill, St Catherine

An 18-year-old is recovering in hospital after he was allegedly stabbed and beaten during a violent attack in the community of Pusey Hill, Point Hill, St Catherine.

Police have since charged two men in connection with the incident.

They are 20-year-old Raheem Mitchell, otherwise called 'Brushie', and 20-year-old Shamar Henry, also known as 'Busta', both of Pusey Hill in Point Hill.

The men were charged on Tuesday with wounding with intent and assault occasioning bodily harm.

Reports from the Point Hill police indicate that on March 4, the complainant was standing along a roadway in Pusey Hill with a friend when the two accused men approached.

An argument reportedly developed between the men.

Investigators say the situation quickly turned violent when the accused allegedly pushed the teen to the ground.

Police allege that one of the men repeatedly beat the complainant about the upper body while the other used a knife to stab him several times.

The injured teen was later assisted to the Spanish Town Hospital where he was admitted for treatment.

The two men were later arrested and subsequently charged following a question and answer session.
