Begging potential child molesters to step out of the shadows, a pastor’s wife who turned her husband’s church into a secret swingers’ hub is urging would-be pedophiles to seek intervention in local pews and adult clubs to save children from irreversible harm.

The woman, who this newspaper calls Candy, also insists that her underground swinger network and local holy houses can save individuals who are harbouring dangerous attractions from becoming monster abusers.

“If you feel like you want to harm a child, there are churches and a myriad of different sex clubs in Jamaica that will accept you,” Candy brazenly declared.

The stunning plea is the latest twist in the saga of the secretive spouse, who previously confessed to running a wild sex ring out of her clergyman husband’s sanctuary.

“If someone knows they are struggling before they offend, that is precisely when intervention should happen,” Candy insisted. “Waiting until a crime is committed means a child has already paid the price.”

The Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA) says that cases involving sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 16 account for approximately 55 per cent of the reports received by the agency’s Kingston and St Andrew office. In 2024, CISOCA referred 673 sexual abuse cases to the Investigation Services Unit in the National Children’s Registry.

Meanwhile, Candy, railing against a public that she claims only cares about child abuse when it hits the front page, argued that bottling up sick desires in secret turns potential offenders into ticking time bombs. While insisting her bizarre invitation isn’t about giving sick urges a pass, she is offering her unorthodox den as a sanctuary to keep children safe.

“Children should never become the outlet for those impulses. There are many available outlets and recourses, channel those desires there,” she said. “If someone recognises they have that struggle, there must be another path available to them before they cause irreversible harm. If it’s not the church, sex clubs are available. Seek help. Allow someone to walk alongside you before another child becomes a victim,” she said.

The defiant church woman is insisting she isn’t advocating the creation of a predator playground.

“This is not about creating a safe haven,” Candy said. “It is about creating an opportunity for intervention before a child is victimised.”

Insisting child protection remains her top goal, Candy swore that no potential abuser would get unmonitored access to children, nor would they be handed church positions or trusted roles.

“Protection must always come first,” Candy said. “The purpose is intervention, not opportunity.”

Snapping back at potential critics who may accuse her of caring more about sick creeps than innocent victims, Candy claims stopping abuse before it happens is the ultimate shield for the vulnerable. And while admitting she has zero medical or psychiatric training, the pastor’s wife said holy houses shouldn’t slam the door on people begging for a cure.

“I am not presenting myself as a mental health professional, nor am I claiming to have all the answers,” she admitted. “What I am saying is that churches have always been places where broken people seek help.”

Now, she is demanding the nation stop burying its head in the sand and tackle the crisis head-on—no matter how uncomfortable it gets.

“My greatest hope is that Jamaica begins treating child sexual abuse as an issue that deserves constant attention rather than temporary outrage,” Candy declared. “If this initiative encourages one person to seek help instead of harming a child... then I believe it has served an important purpose.
